High chair how long
Depends on the make and model, with my my 1st it was a solid chair , nice and big and a grow with me type she used it until she was 3 or 4. If I had known I'd have another kiddo I woulda saved it lol buying used sure saved my butt.
I used with my daughter now my son. As soon as we could get her in a booster at the table we did and will with our son also. I would not spend a lot on a high chair, but rather get a good booster for the table. She still uses hers and she's 3. Safety first so until she can sit on her but to eat instead of her knees she has to use the booster. I just moved my 2 year old out of her high chair, and only because I needed it for my soon to be 6 month old.
She now sits on a regular chair with a phone book to prop her up high enough. If I could have left her in longer I would have but we like to have family dinners with everyone eating at the same time..
Do you collect Air Miles? On average I'd say about 2 years. I do not recommend getting an expensive one though. The ikea one is fine or the my favourite is the fisher price healthy care booster. It cleans so easily, doesnt take up space and you can fold it up and take it with you. I had a fancy highchair with my first daughter and I hated it took up so much space, food got in all the crack's, tray was so big it wouldnt fit in the sink.
I now have 3 kids and I've learned that simpler is usually better when it comes to kids. Log in or sign up to post a comment! Recent posts in April Gifts by Aryaaa.

Some cannot stand to be in the high chair for more than five minutes, others are happy to sit and eat and play while you cook near them for an hour.
Some kids love it if you give them toys, or let them fingerpaint with pudding, as long as you're nearby chatting to them while you cook. Others only want to eat in the high chair but will nibble for an hour. Listen to your daughter -- she will tell you if it is too long.
If she is unhappy, she will let you know! Just what I needed. None of the other methods of "disciplining" were working for us. These articles are really helping me understand what my son needs. And the way you give specific actions to take, with suggested words! I often find myself thinking when reading about parenting, "But how exactly do I implement that???? This website does not leave me hanging. Thank you! We all want to be awesome parents; we just don't know how.
Yours is the best advice I've found so far on what to do when you, the parent, are angry. Most say something like, "Deal positively with your anger! Laura Markham on www. I have written on a wall at home to always choose love, love is patient, love is kind, love protects, love will get me home.
Laura's parenting advice completely changed my relationship with my daughter, improved her self-esteem, and transformed our lives. Providing my daughter with acknowledgement of her feelings and point of view reduced her oppositional behaviors and emotional meltdowns to nearly none.
Laura, you have created miracles, large and small, in so many lives and our children thank you. Typically, your toddler is ready to stop using a high chair between the age of 18 months and 3 years of age. The reason being that at this age, they should be steady enough to keep themselves upright for quite a long period, though the chances of being wiggly might be there. For a transition from high chair to be effective, it has to be done when your toddler is ready and as a result, you have to be on the watch to notice when your toddler is ready so that the transition does not affect your toddler adversely.
And you have made up your mind to help him or her work through the exit door of the room of high chair usage.
